Charterhouse is working with a well-established and highly-regarded semi-government organisation in Qatar. Reporting to the Head of Reputation Management our client is looking to hire an ambitious, driven and dedicated PR Communication specialist who has a strong proven track record in reputation and crisis management.
The client has a clear vision to further build on and develop their reputation management team, working towards the continuous improvement across the organisation. This is a niche role where you will support in the development of the reputation risk management framework as well as support in developing and embedding the reputation management plan. You will ensure that the organisation is prepared to respond to any crisis and will implement SEO strategies. You will monitor all internal / external communication and participate in risk reviews along with assessments assisting in identifying and mitigating any risk for the organisation. This role works closely with the social media team identifying any online reputational risks and issues, interpreting feedback and responding accordingly. In addition, you will also work across the organisation engaging with various Stakeholders overseeing the day to day operations and many aspects of projects, as well as providing overall support to the entire reputation management team on business plans, KPI’s, scorecards and yearly budgets.
This exciting and challenging role requires a certain skills set including a solid background in reputation and crisis management, project management, proposal development as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills. You will have a solid commercial acumen along with a bachelors Degree in communications, public relation or marketing with at least 6-8 years relevant work experience in a large organisation. Fluency in Arabic would be highly advantageous.
