Charterhouse is working with the exclusive distributor of a well-known French FMCG brand. Our client is looking to hire a sales driven account executive to manage modern trade channels across the GCC regions. This role will involve regular travel to the assigned markets.
About the role

A major focus for this role will be to build and nurture strong channel partner relationships within the modern trade channel and managing performance including development of sales strategies, providing training to partners, managing merchandising and negotiating product assortment mix. There will be comprehensive product training provided within the role by our client as well as the principle brand.
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join their team who is passionate about sales, has a strong commercial awareness and is keen to develop and grow. A background in handling modern trade accounts for an FMCG brand is essential for this role ideally with experience on a regional level as there will be extensive travel across the GCC required for this position.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 2 years key account experience ideally within FMCG industry handling modern trade accounts i.e. supermarkets/hypermarkets. Strong preference will be given to bilingual English/Arabic speakers. As regular travel will be required for this role the successful candidate must be willing to travel as and when required by the business.
