Charterhouse is working with a multinational company who are looking to hire a Regional Service Manager to overlook and manage service centres across the MEA Region. Our client is industrial solutions, machinery and equipment provider operating in 43 countries across the globe.
About the role
This role is responsible for implementing a strong service culture and running a multi-cultural organisation across different geographies. As the Regional Service Manager you will be responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing service operations in line with the overall strategy of the organisation in order to create an excellent customer experience to meet the service market demands and support the service growth opportunities. This role requires strong QHSE culture implementation within the service centres and field service team. In addition, you will be responsible for operational cost centre forecast and results, close communication with the sales team and strategy alignment as well as leading the service operation team.
You will also drive improvements in service operations by innovation and change management, securing relevant KPI’s and making sure performance is measured accordingly.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical with a minimum of 12 years professional experience in service field. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a strong service background in heavy machinery, equipment, power generation, automation or similar as well as previous experience in managing multiple service centres and a team of more than 70 employees. Strong awareness of QHSE regulations and good communications skills are essential as well as leadership skills to empower others by providing clarity, resources and support needed to succeed and be accountable.
