Charterhouse is working with an established upscale fusion restaurant in Qatar who are looking to hire a Restaurant Operations Manager to join their team. You will report to the Group General Manager and oversee both FOH and culinary teams.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the day to day operations of the restaurant, working alongside the Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations within the culinary team in addition to the FOH. This role will include managing the admin and financial components, such as budgets, cost control, inventory and wastage. Requiring regular and accurate reporting to the Group General Manager. You will oversee the hiring and training of the team. Ultimately you will be required to lead the team to provide the highest level of customer service and culinary experience to achieve the financial targets of the restaurant.
The successful candidate should have experience managing a team in excess of 50 for an internationally known upscale dining brand. Experience in the Middle East is an advantage but not essential for the right level of experience. Restaurant Managers from the right brands could be considered to take the next step in their career. Experience within fusion or Asian cuisine preferred. This high level role is looking for a candidate with top level experience, QSR or fast casual experience will not be considered.
