Job description
Charterhouse is partnered with a leading Fintech business who is looking to hire a senior risk professional to head up their risk management function. Having built an international trading platform, the client is now looking to expand operations.
About the role
As Risk Director, this role will be responsible for overseeing all elements of the risk function, including but not limited to; operational, enterprise and market risk. In addition, this role will also cover both the first and second lines of defense and will be responsible for developing and implementing the controls, frameworks, policies and procedures to minimise risk across the firm.
The Director will have complete oversight of the risk function within the organisation and play a pivotal role in navigating potential risks to the organisation alongside ensuring adherence to multiple laws and regulations surrounding trading and market making.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have at least 7 years’ experience within Risk Management, having exposure to implementing controls across operational and enterprise risk.
Our client is looking for a Chinese speaking (Mandarin or Cantonese) candidate, in order to communicate across the group structure effectively.
