Charterhouse is working with a global engineering organisation which is looking to hire a Sales Administration and Logistics Coordinator to join the team in their Dubai regional office.
About the role
Reporting to the Production and Supply Chain Manager, you will be the point of contact for customers and the sales team with queries about products, orders and deliveries as well as supporting to ensure all the necessary documentation is prepared and processed accurately and within a timely manner.
In addition, this role will be in charge of managing the international flow of shipments, controlling the order and transportation processes and ensuring a well-managed logistics system.
This is a deadline driven role, handling a broad range of responsibilities therefore our client is looking for someone who is extremely organised with excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and further develop themselves.
The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience managing and processing client orders, logistics and shipment processes, ideally within the shipping or logistics industry.
A degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is desirable but not essential. Our client is looking for someone who is proactive, detail orientated, and a quick learner who is able to effectively multi-task. An existing knowledge and competency in using CRM software and MS Office (specifically excel) is required.
