Charterhouse is working with a leading FMCG Group in Dubai who is looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Director to join their team. As the Sales and Marketing Director you will report to the CEO.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will be to plan, direct and implement sales and marketing strategies, as well as programs to achieve sales objectives, increase market share and profitability. You will effectively manage sales and distribution operations through different channels in the FMCG industry. In this role you will be managing personal care, baby care, beauty and cosmetics brands across GCC / MENA regions though the distributor network in the respective countries.
You will develop annual operating plans and strategic plans by analysing sales KPIs and volume trends. Additionally, you will manage sales and distribution operations by planning, execution and review sales. You will increase distribution, availability and visibility of the products / brands with all existing customers. Effectively manage the trade marketing and key accounts / channel Partners, especially modern trade, traditional trade and / or pharmacy chains in the region. You will ensure good relationships are built with distributors and customers along with being responsible for profitability and growth of overall business of the brands / products assigned.
The successful candidate should hold a Degree and have 15 years of experience within FMGC Sales and Marketing with at least 7 years in a management position. UAE and GCC experience is essential, as well as regional experience with modern trade, traditional trade and / or pharmacy channels. Preference will be given to those who have handled personal care, baby care, beauty and cosmetics brands / products.
