Charterhouse is working with a leading FMCG Group in Dubai who is looking to hire a Sales Director to join their team. As the Sales Director you will be responsible for planning and implementing successful sales and operational strategies across all distribution channels, this crucial role will report directly in to the CEO.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will be to plan, direct and implement sales and trade marketing strategies, alongside leading and developing a large sales department to achieve sales objectives, increase market share and profitability. You will effectively manage sales and distribution operations through different channels including modern and traditional trade. In this role you will be managing a number of personal care brands, with a distributor network focussed mainly within the UAE also trading across the GCC regions through channel partners. You will develop annual business plans and manage the P&L, whilst conducting detailed KPI and market share analysis. Additionally, you will increase distribution, availability and visibility of the products and brands with all existing customers. A key requirement of this role will be to forge strong working relationships with distributors and customers to guarantee retained business and market share.
The successful candidate should hold a Degree and have 15 years of experience within FMGC Sales with at least 7 years in a management position. UAE and GCC experience is essential, as well as regional experience with modern trade, traditional trade and or pharmacy channels. Preference will be given to those who have handled personal care/ cosmetics brands.
