Charterhouse is working with a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic tools who is looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join their team. As the Sales Engineer you will report to the Sales Director.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will be to generate and handle sales enquiries for the products and services offered by the company within a designated area in the Dubai and Northern Emirates. There will be an emphasis on identifying, developing and maintaining relations with potential clients and customers, as well as being the key point of contact for clients.
You will provide both pre and after-sales technical advice and support and liaise with the Internal Sales Executive’s for the preparation of quotations, negotiation of pricing and terms & conditions of sales. You will meet and exceed monthly sales targets on a regular basis and increase the sales revenue of the company. Provide regular, timely, accurate pro-active reports and achieve targeted KPIs. You will represent and promote the brand at designated exhibitions and product shows as required. Actively promote new products and services to the market, assist marketing with demonstration photos/videos of our products, provide market feedback and competitor analysis in sales meetings. High levels of compliance is essential to ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental requirements are met and exceeded.
The successful candidate should hold a Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering. You should have previous experience in sales of industrial equipment to the oil and gas, power generation, construction or marine industries. You should have excellent communication skills, be presentable, self-motivated, goal orientated and a team player. For this role, you should have an aggressive approach to sales and a valid UAE driving license.
