Charterhouse are working with a leading, global IT services provider with a strong presence in Qatar, Europe and the United States. Our client is looking to hire a Sales Manager – IT Software to be based in Qatar.
About the role
Reporting to the country manager, the sales manager is responsible for pursuing new sales opportunities, gathering leads, establishing new sales territories and managing the sales distribution. You will be responsible for researching customer needs and requirements, implementing new ideas and strategies and developing monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans. You will have a team of account managers and senior account managers whom you are responsible to manage, mentor and lead, as well as recruit, train and on board new representatives.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record and demonstrated sales results in Qatar as well as excellent knowledge on the local market within IT software solutions. The ability to analyse data and sales statistics, prepare and present quarterly goals and forecasts as well as excellent team management and motivation skills. Degree qualified is preferred and Arabic is advantageous.
