Our client is looking to hire a Sales Manager covering the African region for their Tyre division.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to achieve and maintain the company prescribed sales standards with regards to tyre and sales operations, which improves and maintains company and brand image as well as achieve or exceed CSI objectives, thereby ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and repeat sales. You will improve market share by maintaining effective customer relationship with controlled risk management and contribute to a profitable revenue & gross profit growth and ensure that company procedures are adhered to while handling cash and credit customers. You will also constantly improve and update knowledge, especially product range, features, general automotive industry, new features and their benefits, technical developments, market trends, selling techniques and customer handling skills which in-turn enhance performance considerably.
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree as well as strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to build up rapport and good relationship with distributors. The ability to Manage/ influence the team of the distributors and have good people management & leadership skills. You should also have an understanding of the complete business processes as well as good analytical skills.
