Charterhouse is working with a trading company who have the sole distribution rights to luxury products imported from Europe. Our client has been established in the region for over a decade and due to significant growth in the past 2 years together with continued success and client demands they are looking to hire a Sales Representative for a newly created position.
About the role
This role will involve organising the sales team as well as suppliers, logistics and deliveries. You will manage and update existing clients, work with key accounts and compile reports on a weekly and monthly basis for the Sales Manager. You will also work closely with finance regarding invoices and payments to centrally manage the process. In addition, you will be responsible for directing and dealing with new business enquiries in the absence of the sales team.
The successful candidate should have a strong sales experience. Knowledge and experience from a trading company would be highly beneficial however applicants from outside the region and a background in other logistics / manufacturing backgrounds will be considered. Our client has expressed a preference for a female candidate with experience from Europe and who is a native speaker. You should be well organised, a strong communicator and have the ability to bring in new ideas and processes. Due to the location it is essential you possess a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
