Charterhouse is working in exclusive partnership with a pioneering biotechnology organisation, which is looking to appoint a Sales Specialist who has in depth knowledge and experience within this industry, specifically related to NGS. The role will be responsible for developing the sales strategy for the emerging Angola market, and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
About the role
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales plans and building strategic key accounts within the targeted regions. The successful candidate must already possess strong technical knowledge and understanding of the biotechnology industry, including latest developments in the market, competitor activity, laws and regulations relevant to the business. In addition, this role will focus heavily on research and development to define the sales strategy across each market segment, whilst providing valuable insights regarding the product portfolio and its services. This role would suit an organised, commercially minded individual who is able to work with a high level of autonomy and has an existing network of relationships with key decision makers within the medical community.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in Biology or similar related topic, in addition at least 3 years commercial experience in a similar position with knowledge of NGS, IVD and other genomic services. This role will require regular travel to key markets, often at short notice therefore the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel.
