Our client is looking to hire a Senior Manager Kit Solutions GCC & Africa for their consumer electronics division, who will be directly reporting to the Division Head.
About the role
Your responsibilities will be to establish & source SKD, CKD business in the region, plan and manage an entire team of Sales Managers and look after the business unit for the full region. You will guide the Sales Managers to identify and work closely with new distributors to establish relationship that will generate revenue opportunities for the product ranges. You will be responsible for achieving the budget, growth and profitability of the product categories under BU along with overseeing sale, delivery, distribution, pricing, product development, marketing, advertising, customer service etc. and coach/ guide/ train the team in the BU and ensure all members are motivated. You will also resolve important customer/ distributor complaints. In addition, you will ensure that the team achieves the entire BU sales budget for the region in terms of growth and profitability as well as devise strategies to increase profitability of products, maintain a rapport with the senior team of the distributors and visit them frequently to resolve any critical issues, conduct regular team meetings and look at the purchase, sales & inventory of each distributors and prepare and maintain information for the review of business performance and also the forecasting of future sales business and planned activities
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the consumer electronics industry (preferably with a multinational company) and possess excellent hands on experience of KIT business setup (SKD/ CKD), have strong presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to build up rapport and good relationship with distributors. You should have regional knowledge of the consumer electronics market and as per the product categories allocated in the BU and the ability to Manage/ influence the team of the distributors. People management & leadership skills is essential and an understanding of the complete business processes. You should also have good analytical skills.
