Charterhouse is working with a multinational Supply Chain organisation who is looking to hire a Senior Procurement Manager to join their team in Dubai.
About the role
Your responsibilities will be to manage the development and implementation of procurement activities, policies and processes, and convert the business direction into realised procurement strategies and initiatives through liaising and communicating with internal senior management and external stakeholders and senior business professionals in order to support in meeting business needs while providing high-quality items and supplies whilst maintaining cost efficiency. As part of this role you will look after the business functions, strategy and performance management, day-to-day management, contract management, project delivery and completion, savings and initiatives, vendor management, relationship management, policies and procedures, subordinates supervision and EHS (environment, health and safety).
The Successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in the procurement field, 3 years of which in managerial position with a back ground in event operations. You should have a bachelor’s Degree in a supply chain, procurement or relevant management discipline as well as professional accreditation and be industry qualified within procurement profession (MCIPS or equivalent).
