Charterhouse is working with an exciting new project in Dubai, who is looking to hire a Sous Chef to oversee 3 distinctive and highly creative culinary concepts, soon to open. These are integrated components of the projects lifestyle vision, to bring people together. The cuisine focus for this project is eclectic share style dishes from a vast collection of cultures.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be the ongoing smooth running of the kitchen with consistent preparation of innovative & creative cuisine. You will oversee all day-to-day operations, monthly stock control, assist in menu development whilst mentoring and training the team and maintaining the highest level of customer service.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and have experience as a Head Chef in an independent restaurant. Ideally, have managed a team of 10 plus in the kitchen. This role requires a true culinary creative with extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for global cuisines. Due to the nature of the role preference will be given to individuals who have worked in a similar boutique style location.
