Charterhouse is working with an established hospitality group in Kuwait who is looking to hire a Sous Chef for their soon to open European restaurant. Our client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to assist overseeing the team and report to the Executive Chef.
About the role
You will be involved in the full culinary side of the restaurant operations. You will assist the Executive Chef in menu design, inventory control, and all day-to-day tasks. You should be an excellent communicator, with an upbeat attitude. You will also be responsible for leading the junior members of the kitchen team and assisting in making sure all standards are maintained at all time.
The successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a stand-alone full service casual restaurant preferably within the UAE, ideally within a Mediterranean or Italian concept. Due to the scope of the role preference will be given to candidates immediately available.
