Charterhouse are currently working with an organisation who are well-recognized for their involvement in prominent festivals, exhibitions and international programs. The role is for a Sponsorships Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all Business Development functions and ensuring the organisations continuous growth and success.
About the role
This is a fast-paced role and will require previous experience in a similar industry. Key responsibilities will involve nurturing positive long-term relationships with current sponsors whilst also forming and building strong partnerships with new potential sponsors and stakeholders. You will be required to oversee all sponsorship development and delivery for annual events and programs in addition to coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure the delivery of all marketing efforts, branding, public relations and hospitality commitments. Furthermore you will assist with the event coordination and take ownership for recording and monitoring all incurred expenditure for the sponsorship program. To be successful in this position you should be target-driven, self-motivated, and resilient with a keen interest in the creative arts industry.
The successful candidate should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Development or Sponsorship Sales capacity in the region. A background in the events industry or a non-profit would be advantageous, ideally with an understanding and passion for the creative arts industry.
As this is a very hands-on role and given the nature of the organisation, candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt their schedule to meet business requirements.
