Charterhouse is working with a Global Service Provider in Mobilization, Sustainment and Operational readiness who is looking to hire a Supply Chain Acquisition Planner to join their team. As the Supply Chain Acquisition Planner you will report into the Subcontracts Manager.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to develop procurement strategies, including clear, concise, actionable statements of work. You will also serve as a point of contact for customers, subcontractors and management regarding contract requirements and resolving issues.
You will participate in the selection and management of suppliers as well as supporting and coordinating cost proposals, pricing activities and negotiations, in conjunction with multiple departments. You will also support customer demands by managing modifications and changing orders, as well as all other aspects of day-to-day subcontract administration.
You will act as an advisor regarding legal requirements, terms and conditions and delivery schedules, as well as ensuring processes are in place to properly receive products and/or services in support of the Procure-to-Pay.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelors’ Degree in purchasing, supply chain management or business administration and have at least four years’ experience as a Supply Chain Acquisition Planner. Team leadership experience is preferred.
