Charterhouse is working with a multinational luxury goods brand who have a strong presence across the GCC. Our client is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to oversee their KSA operations. To be considered for this role you must have comprehensive supply chain management experience within the sector.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving the demand and supply planning as well as organizing the monthly order replenishment with supply parameters and organize the distribution and transportation orientation with the suppliers. In addition, other duties will include; defining supply chain budget and preparing S&OP; liaising with various Regulatory Departments and Government Regulatory Bodies; managing warehouses and inventory; managing and monitoring customer’s stock and returns process;
To be considered for this role you should hold an MBA or Postgraduate with a relevant Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Industrial Engineering with 5 or more years of experience in a similar role as well as extensive knowledge of GCC market within the luxury goods and fashion sector. Ideally, you should have knowledge of food industry standards and systems along with experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Logistics as well as Warehousing and Purchasing. Problem solving, negotiation and organisation skills are critical as well as a desire to grow together with the business. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of both Arabic and French.
