Charterhouse is working with an international leader in consumer electronics who is looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to test, trouble shoot and resolve problems encountered by customers to ensure optimum product experience and customer satisfaction.
About the role
As a Technical Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the brands valued customers by providing suitable solutions and communicating step by step service guidelines and complex technical information in a clear and concise way to customers across all levels of technical ability. This role will take overall responsibility for all video and sound category products, including but not limited to; attending technical training and conducting class room style training, quality assurance testing of products, recommending suitable actions to ensure product reliability, as well as compiling data for analysis and reporting purposes. In addition, this role will involve regular travel overseas and across the UAE as and when required by the business, therefore the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel, often at short notice.
To be considered for this role you must hold a Degree in engineering or relevant field, with 3 years minimum experience in a similar role. Candidates must be advanced users of the entire Microsoft office suite and have prior experience of delivering formal classroom style training. You should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst prioritizing workload effectively.
