Charterhouse is working with a utility service company who is looking to hire a Waste Operations Officer in Qatar. You will be responsible for the overall operations of a waste management service. Duties will include meeting clients on a weekly basis and having responsibility for the operations team to include managing their day-to-day schedule. You will ensure the upkeep of proper records for the repair and maintenance of all vehicles and equipment. You will enforce proper safety standards and ensure they are maintained by providing the necessary training. You will also maintain all data including operations logs, maintenance reports and third party reports / documents. In addition, you will document any customer complaints and take all necessary action to ensure they are effectively closed as per the customer complaint handling process. The successful candidate should be Degree / Diploma educated and have over 5 years experience working in a waste / recycling or service industry. You should be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines as well as build relationships. You should also have proven experience of implementing waste management operations together with supervising / managing operations teams.

Instrumentation Engineer

Charterhouse is working with an oil and gas EPC. Our client is looking to hire an Instrumentation Engineer. You will prepare basic and detailed instrumentation design, engineering activities for the assigned projects in petrochemical and O&G plants in accordance with the company procedures. Your duties will include assisting with the project design, calculations, sizing and selection of equipment. You will implement requirements including technical integrity, safety in design and sustainable design wherever applicable. In addition, you will liaise with other engineering and technical teams to ensure overall progress. You will also prepare and issue RFQs, evaluation of vendors quotations, clarifications, documents and technical bid analysis. You will perform engineering and application of various instruments, F&G, Analysers including programming knowledge on DCS, PLC, SIS, HMU and SCADA/RTU. The successful candidate should possess a bachelors Degree in electronics /instrumentation engineering. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in natural gas processing and compression packaging industry.
