Job description
Charterhouse is working with a Healthcare start-up, who is looking to hire a Backend Developer to join their global software engineering team. This role offers the flexibility to work onsite in the UAE or remotely from Europe.
About the role
The Backend Developer will play a crucial role within the Healthcare Startup, working within a global cross-functional team. This role will be responsible for managing and developing the client's new and existing website and web applications.
In addition, this role will also be responsible for the backend code ensuring this is efficient, scalable, and reusable. The Developer will also have a focus on quality assurance, making sure the applications are running efficiently.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as a Backend Developer using Python, Django, Flask or Fast API and ideally, would have knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
Our client is looking for someone who has previously built scalable applications and has a problem-solving attitude. The team shares a passion for helping people and they are looking for a candidate that has the same values with the ability to work independently and with a team.
It would be a bonus if the candidate has worked in a biotech, healthcare, or related domain before.
