Charterhouse is working with an IT Consultancy, who is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer within their international team.
About the role
The Senior Data Engineer will play a crucial part within the company working closely with the Head of Data, with the focus of building robust, real-time, world-class platform. The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring data quality, integrity, and security through the implementation of best practices and industry-standard techniques.
This role will help drive the Data first mindset throughout the company and will work closely with junior members of the team. In addition, this position will also mentor and train less experienced developers.
This IT consultancy is going through an interesting growth stage and will give this successful Data Engineer the opportunity to work on multiple existing and greenfield projects.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have 8+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer with a Master's Degree or higher qualification in Computer Science or related field.
Our client is looking for someone who has a strong understanding of Python, Java, SQL, etc. The ideal candidate would have worked in a consultancy or fast-paced environment previously. Strong communication skills in English are preferred as this role will be required to liaise with a team across the globe and will need to share ideas and opinions.
