Portfolio Manager (Treasury) – Arabic Speaking

​Charterhouse is partnering with a large and dynamic investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, who is looking to hire a Portfolio Manager to join their Treasury team.

About the role
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the corporate equity portfolio and will ensure the proper allocation and direction of equity funds towards projects aligned with strategic priorities, thereby achieving overall portfolio performance and developmental goals.

This role will actively participate and contribute strategic insights in the selection and structuring of projects, whilst cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients to facilitate the seamless implementation of portfolio operations, aiming to generate maximum returns from investments.

In addition, this role will also monitor the profit distribution from projects and involve stakeholders, evaluate investment performance and feasibility by continuously tracking valuation and company performance. The Manager will make decisions to address distressed asset and collaborate with risk management personnel to develop recovery strategies.

About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University in Finance/ Accounting (or similar) with a strong understanding of Equities and at least 7 years’ experience in a similar Treasury Portfolio Manager role from another Investment firm.

Our client is looking for someone with a wealth of expertise in due diligence, project selection, portfolio management and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities along with proven track record in finance and a keen understanding of investment strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years in progressively increasing managerial responsibilities and hold a CFA qualification. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal is essential for this role.
