Job description
Charterhouse is working with a prestigious International Law Firm who are looking to hire an experienced Business Development and Marketing Assistant to join their well-established BD Function, working in the Dubai office. This role will report to the Business Development Director and will involve collaboration with teams in the Middle East and international offices.
About the role
The Business Development and Marketing Assistant will support the delivery of business development and marketing initiatives across the Middle East, reporting to the BD Director. Working across key practice areas, this role will help to drive regional growth and brand consistency. Key responsibilities include promoting the use of the firm’s CRM system to track BD and relationship activities, supporting internal and external communications, and ensuring consistent application of the firm’s brand and style guidelines across all materials.
The Business Development and Marketing Assistant will also maintain and update website content such as lawyer bios, articles and events including photography coordination. The role also involves preparing PowerPoint presentations, assisting with pitch documents, and supporting event coordination (invitations, guest lists, and RSVPs), in collaboration with the global team. Additional tasks include liaising with suppliers, processing expenses, and monitoring stock of branded materials. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
About you
The successful candidate should be degree educated in either Marketing or Business Administration. The candidate should also have excellent time management and organisational skills, written and verbal communication, attention to detail for proofing and ability to work well in a team and independently. The ideal candidate will need to have a flexible approach with regards to daily task and working hours and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
