Job description
Charterhouse is working with a Property Developer who is looking to hire an HR Manager to manage their HR Function within the Dubai Office. This role will act as a partner to the business and drive key HR initiatives, supporting operations and organisation growth.
About the role
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and executing core HR functions including recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, compliance, employee relations and learning and development. This role will manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, working to build a strong talent pipeline across various departments, and will oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless integration for new hires. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with Finance to oversee payroll and ensure completion of related administration are done efficiently and accurately.
The HR Manager will also be responsible for implementing and leading the performance management frameworks to promote long-term capability and retention within the business. Alongside this, the role will design and execute the learning and development function, to maintain a skilful workforce.
Additionally, the HR Manager will ensure all HR operations are compliant with UAE labour laws, develop policies and procedures, and maintain accurate employee records and systems. Reporting to the CEO, this position will play a key role in driving employee engagement initiatives, resolving conflicts professionally, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role will also be responsible for succession planning.
About You
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, ideally within the property or real estate sector. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, and a Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., CIPD) is preferable.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices, as well as demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and collaborative leader with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organisation. The candidate will be proactive, solution-oriented, and skilled in managing a broad range of HR responsibilities with discretion and professionalism.
Successful applicants will be proficient in both English and Arabic communication skills, written and verbal.
