​Charterhouse is working with a Global Law Firm to assist in hiring of an HR and Office Manager to oversee daily operations and support HR functions for their Riyadh Office. Our client requires a Saudi National for this role.

About the role

The HR & Office Manager role will be extremely varied, responsible for overseeing the daily operations, legal administrative duties and smooth running of the office. This role will coordinate and collaborate effectively with senior management across KSA, Dubai and London offices to ensure operations are running smoothly. The HR & Office Manager will provide local vendor support, assist with client onboarding, managing any paperwork and documentation and prepare offer and salary letters, while ensuring to complete administrative requirements and assigned projects within a timely manner. As a line manager, the role also includes overseeing administrators and receptionists.

In addition, the role involves facilities management, including negotiating with suppliers while maintaining strong relationships, keeping on top of contract and trade license renewal, as well as maintenance of office supplies by checking stock and placing orders.

This role will also support the HR function, being the primary HR support for the Riyadh office, maintaining in-depth understanding of Saudization requirements and ensuring the full compliance with Saudi labor laws. Reporting to HR in Dubai and the UK, the role involves supporting the entire employee lifecycle, manage recruitment, onboarding for new employees, and oversee the visa process. Close collaboration with the Finance Manager is required to review and support with payroll processes, salary reviews, local benchmarking, as well as managing employee records.

About you

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years HR experience, ideally within Legal or Professional Services, and preferably within a Global Business. Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal are essential.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, a self-starter with proven experience at managing tight deadlines. Our client is seeking a forward thinker, strong decision maker, a strong team player but is able to use their own initiative. Prior KSA working experience is essential. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, eager to grow within an organisation and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.
